LEAFS TIE BLUES

The Leafs tied the Blues 4-4 extending their unbeaten to streak to seven games. The first period saw the Blues quickly jump out to a 2-0 lead not even four minutes into the game but that wouldn’t last long as Kovalenko and Ingman would tie the game up 3 minutes later. But the Blues would score two more goals to end the first period up by two 4-2. The second period the Leafs would outshoot the blues nine to three but couldn’t get any goals past Andy Moog. Paul Broten took a elbowing penalty one minute into the third period and it took only fifty seconds for the leafs to convert that into a goal. Ingman would score his second of the game six minutes later tying the score up. Shayne Corson would take a penalty in overtime but the Leafs couldn’t convert it into a goal and the game would end up being a 4-4 tie.

Next up for the red hot Leafs is a day off then they are at home against the LA Kings whom they lost earlier in the season to by a score of 3-1. Can the Leafs get redemption against the Kings and keep the unbeaten streak alive? Only time will tell.
