Then, at 13:08, the Penguins made it 2-0 as Young scored his 25th of the season from Jagr and Keskinen. The Penguins then made it 3-0 at 15:08 when Elynuik scored his 8th of the season from Kypreos and Joseph. At 17:28, Buffalo got on the board as Zavisha scored his 8th of the season from Musil and Babe. At 17:40, the Penguins answered almost immediately when Keskinen scored his 10th of the season from Kypreos and Amonte. The Penguins took their 4-1 lead into the 3rd period. In the 3rd period, the Sabres made it 4-2 at 8:14 when Grimson scored his 2nd of the season from Errey and Fitzgerald. At 13:31 Young scored his 2nd of the game from Keskinen and Jagr to make it 5-2. 5-2 would be the final in this one.
