NORTH STARS AND ROCKIES CONTINUE THE BATTLE

With the 1995 season coming to a close, the North Stars find themselves in the thick of things for the race for the Norris division title with the Colorado Rockies.  And, go figure, at this point of the season and the season series the North Stars and Rockies and deadlocked in their season series 1-1-2 on the season and dead even at 17-17 goals for and against a true grudge match.  With one final game in the season series, which could determine the Norris title, and the 2 teams could end it all even, time will tell.  With the North Stars battling injuries and suspensions, the latest North Stars JJ Daigneault received a 10 game suspension which will take him into the playoffs 1st round, and Brian Lawton still serving out his suspension the North Stars will have to make a go of it short staffed.

The North Stars only need 6 points to clinch at least 3rd place in the conference and home ice advantage in the 1st round but still have their eyes on the division and conference titles.  With only 6 games remaining in the schedule a lot can still happen and change!!

Stay tuned!
