Hawks come back to down Kings

 

The game started out with 9 shots a piece in the first at 9, but  the Kings were able to break the game open with the first goal at the half way point, Mantha (7) notched a PP goal. 5 minutes later Smolinski (5) tied the game up on a nice goal. Dean (2) scored an unluckily goal at the 17 minute mark with assists from Lamb and Yush. It was a physical 1st period with Musil and Yawney squaring off 4 minutes in and Musil, Yawney took the nod and they both were done for the night.

The second period was all Hawks, 16-12 in shots and the Kings took a 0 goal lead with Holik (12) scoring an unassisted goal but the Hawks had a flurry of three in a row  Nattress (4), King(6) and Ronning (17) for the game winner

In the third period, the Kings had 6 minutes in PIM, and we had a 0-0 score. Khabibulin with the W and Billington fell to 1-9-1.
