ROCKIES GET BURKED
Denver
The Colorado Rockies came out with a purpose after the Christmas break. The first goal was to take back second place in the conference and start to put pressure on the Jets. Colorado travelled to Pittsburgh to take on the upstart Penguins.
A back and forth game that the Rockies let slip through their hands. The visiting club got away from what made them successful and tried to trade scoring chances with the home side. The Rockies out shpt the Pens 38-18 but got stymied by arguably the most underrated goalie to ever play the game. Sean Burke made a statement here. The Penguins are a legitimate factor in the he Wales Conference. Any team that underestimates them leaves the back door open for some Diddy 1,000 bottles type stuff.
